Kiss in the Summer Rain

When I wanted to create something about love for St. Valentine's Day for the first time, the idea of what exactly didn't come to my mind for a long time. For about two hours which is truly a long time when you do nothing but come round the apartment and mumble, "Love, love, love..."
Something about love... Everything is about love! Whatever book you take, whatever song you listen, whatever film you watch. Everything ends up being about love. But something that begins with love? It was difficult. At least for two hours.
And then I made a sketch of this fairy.

She helps people with love.
She is a kind and caring person. Though not from the first sight. Because if every day you work with love affairs, kindness doesn't help, yet cynicism is appearing.
She has bottles with potions in her pockets. She cooks them in the evening. Not love potions, because it is such an old thing! And forbidden by Magical Law from 1871, by the way. She can cook affection or passion - or, for instance, "Kiss in the Summer Rain". It is a potion that the fairy has invented herself.

That's how Ilza appeared. And then her husband Lion. He isn't seen anywhere around the doll, but I just knew that he existed. Because you need to love someone to deal with love, right? I wrote the story about them, so my head was full of thoughts about that fairy and people around her.
The main focus of the story was that potion, as well as it is the main focus of the doll. See it there, in the pot? And there is also a recipe of it that Ilza has in her pocket. You can take it out and read. That's what is written there.

Rain Water - 5 liters
Yellow Dandelions - 350 grams
Honey collected from Roses - 200 grams
Vanilla Sugar - 1 tablespoon
Strawberries - 350 grams
Sunlight - 0.7 liters

In the story - and usually - Ilza gives it to different people because of different reasons. When a girl wants to meet a her true love; when a young man needs courage to confess to the girl he loves; even when there is a girl who is crying because her boyfriend just broke up with her. To everyone the fairy has a different explanation what this potion does.
The truth is, it does nothing but helps people to feel love in the world. That it exists. That it is everywhere.
That's what I thought on the 14th of February this year.
