Here Comes The Bride

My friend Marina got married this spring, and as her wedding present I gave her that doll, my third doll. Premier, 30 cm. After the brightness of the witch I returned to the whiteness, this time of the bride. Her name is Lileya.

Marina had the most traditional wedding you could imagine. And that's why the thought about a traditional bride had come up to my mind. I mean, those girls from those old stories that had to be obedient to their parents, marry the right man and then be obedient to him. Quite sad brides they must have been!
And this bride too, her head is lowered with obedience to her future destiny, her hand is obediently reached out for the ring to be put on. A perfect obedient bride.
But if you lift up the veil and then bend a bit to see what is going on that lowered face, you will see the smile. She is just pretending to be like in order to follow the tradition. In fact, she is very happy and she is getting married because of love.
